The story of Jessica L.
Jessica is a nurse who actually looks after other people. But four years ago, she received a shocking diagnosis: she had a 7.8 mm tumour on her pituitary gland that was disrupting her hormones. She had not menstruated for 15 years and suffered from other symptoms such as headaches, visual disturbances and weight fluctuations. She underwent surgery to remove the tumour, but it returned. She had to take strong medication that had many side effects. She lost hope of ever getting well again or having children.
Healthy sleep as a supportive therapy
